Gnu Migration Camps
Gnu Migration Camps are located in the Kogatende area northern Serengeti just a few minutes drive from the famous Mara river where the greatest land mammal of more than a 2.5million wildebeest and zebras crosses while migrating to Maasai Mara the camp opens from 1st July to 31st October offering front seats to witness the annual’s great migration, Balloon flights, and walking safaris. , the Ndutu camp is located in the Ndutu plains which tracks the wildebeest Calving season and it opens from Mid-December through to March.

Gnu Migration Camps, are Luxury mobile tented camps with 8 en-suite tented rooms including family rooms, 8m long by 4m wide, each tent is equipped with comfortable king-size or twin beds and featuring en suite facilities such as shower, hand-wash basin, and a flush toilet.
Location of Gnu Migration Camps
The camps are located in some of the most strategic locations to see the greatest action in the entire migration trail, Mara River Gnu Camp opens 1st July- 31st October when the migration moves to the Northern part of Serengeti while crossing the Mara River. Ndutu Gnu Camp opens from 20th Dec – 31st March in the Southern plains of Serengeti following the famous calving season.
How to get to Gnu Migration Camps
Clients can fly either to Ndutu plains or to Kogatende where the Migration camps are located but you can also drive from anywhere in the Northern Tanzania safari circuit to either southern Serengeti where one camp is located or Northern Serengeti where the second camp is located.
