One of the classic safari highlights in Serengeti national park is the bush breakfast which is one of the experiences not to be missed. Typically, guests are awakened by a very early morning cup of tea. They then set off on a game drive, which is timed to offer the very best chance of spotting “The Big Five” (elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, and buffalos).

Setting off ahead of the guests, the lodge team will arrive at the chosen breakfast spot in time to set up tables, chairs, a campfire, and the “bush kitchen.” Upon arrival, the guests are typically met with a glass of chilled sparkling wine and fresh-pressed orange juice. They can then sit down to enjoy a uniquely scenic full English breakfast. Meanwhile, our chef will cook their choice of sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, and toast.

Best time to Visit Serengeti national parks for sundowners

Tanzania is an all-year-round safari destination but the best time to visit Tanzania is during February to March when there is wildebeest calving season in Ndutu plains southern Serengeti and from Late July to October when the Serengeti wildebeest Mara River crossing is at its peak.
