February to March and from July to October is considered to be the best time to visit Uganda for gorilla trekking as it is dry season where the country receives low or no rainfall in a period of 90-12o days and this same period collides perfectly with one of Africa’s greatest wildlife spectacles in Kenya and Tanzania.

Between February and March the wildebeest calving takes place in the Ndutu plains in southern Serengeti where over 6000 calves are born daily for a period of 3 weeks in the presence of one of Africa’s biggest concentration of predators and from July to October is when the wildebeest migration takes place between Tanzania’s Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai mara eco system so we highly recommend visiting Uganda in this Months.

May –June is rainy season in Uganda and it always doubles as the green season though gorilla trekking is difficult due to slippery trails wildlife viewing tents to be very good as there is a lot of green grass and plenty of water for the wildlife and it’s our second best time to travel to Uganda for gorilla trekking a long side December which is dry season and Christmas holidays attracting quite a number of tourist.

April and November in Uganda are the months which receive the highest amount of rainfall and these are the same months where a lot flooding is experienced making travelling around the country difficult and also gorilla trekking is very difficult and the trails are very slippery however it’s the same month where prices of services are discounted and other properties close down for renovation.
