One&only gorilla nest has  21 guest suites – 14 guest rooms (king), -2 4Bedroom Forest Lodges, and seven one-bedroom suites, including two super suites. Modern in design, yet with traditional Rwandan influences, each overlooks the vast African terrain with private decks and an in-room fireplace.

The Lodge is located just under 6 kilometers from the Kinigi Park headquarters and it’s one of the Lodges that sit on the trailhead of many gorilla families and golden Monkey experiences, you can’t mistake the Lodge as it is located directly opposite the famous Kinigi Craft shop village.

How to get to One & Only Gorilla Nest

Most guests traveling to one & only gorilla nest will drive from Kigali using a 4×4 safari vehicle, the 120 km drive is pretty easy 2-3 hours on a tarmac road and travelers will opt for helicopter charters since the Lodge has helipads at the property making it an easy hoop from Kigali, we recommend using Akagera aviation in Kigali for the Helicopter flights.
