Bisate Lodge Volcanoes NP Rwanda

Bisate is one of Rwanda’s first luxury eco-friendly lodges the lodge is located close to the park boundary of the famous volcanoes national park which is home to the endangered Mountain gorillas, the lodge was properly designed to give guests exclusiveness and much-needed comfort during their gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, this lodge is part of the Wilderness safaris lodge collection.

Currently, Bisate lodge has 6 full self-contained villas all of them overlooking Bisoke and Karisimbi volcanoes respectively, these villas are carefully designed with some superior interior and luxury.

Location of Bisate Lodge

Bisate is located on top of an eroded volcanic cone, with dramatic views of the peaks of the Bisoke and Karisimbi volcanoes rearing up through Afro-alpine forests; Bisate is within easy driving distance of the Park Headquarters, from where gorilla treks depart daily.

How to get to Bisate Lodge

Bisate can be accessed in two ways, By road, the lodge is located 136 km Northwest of the main capital Kigali and using a 4×4 safari vehicle the lodge is just a 3-hour drive via Musanze and the second option is to fly in using a helicopter the lodge has a helipad at the Lodge and you land right at the premises.
