ABOUT NICHOLAS TUGUMISIRIZE

Born in the Kanungu district in Southern Uganda in 1991, Nicolas grow up with parents who were farmers growing a variety of crops including; coffee, tea, and bananas near Bwindi impenetrable national park Nicolas was inspired by other bird guides in Bwindi forest and he got interested in bird watching when he was very young and he decided to make a career as a guide specializing in birding. In 2014 I started the birding courses. I started guiding when I was still studying and began full-time guiding in 2015. Since 2015 I have worked for 3 different companies and now am part of the team at Endless Plains Africa. Currently, Nicolas is a Senior Birding Specialist Guide, leading bird-watching trips, and finding and identifying Ugandan endemic species.
