Ndali Lodge is a spacious lodge located in what used to be a coffee and Vanilla plantation during colonial times, the lodge is set at the foothills of the Rwenzori mountains offering breathtaking views of the surroundings and the crater lakes making it a comfortable place to stay while exploring fort portal and Kibale forest national park.

Ndali lodge has eight grass-thatched cottages that are spacious and airy, with each facing west to offer a panoramic view to the spectacular ‘Mountains of the Moon’ – Rwenzori Mountains. The interiors are imaginatively furnished, using local materials.

Location of Ndali Lodge

Ndali lodge is nestled on the Edge of an Extinct Volcanic Crater Lake at the Foot of the Rwenzori Mountains in an old coffee farm set during colonial times and the area has become a lovely nature reserve.

How to get to Ndali Lodge

Ndali lodge is Located near the Ndali crater lakes, by road clients have to get to fort portal town which is a 6-7 hours’ drive from Kampala or Entebbe on arrival at fort portal you will take the Fort portal Kamwenge road about 7-8 km after passing Kiko town you will start looking on your right and you will see the signpost for Ndali and follow that road until you see the crater lake and the lodge on the top.

By air the nearest airstrip is in Kasese which is about 2 hours drive to Ndali lodge via Rwimi town, there are daily scheduled and charter flights from Entebbe to Kasese.
