Our 9 Days primate and game safari will give you an opportunity of exploring 4 of Uganda’s 10 national parks those include the famous Bwindi impenetrable national park, Kibale forest national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, and ending the safari perfectly with a relaxation at Lake Mburo national park, you will trek gorillas, Chimpanzees and view wildlife during the course of your safari in Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe international airport
After landing in Uganda, our guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Entebbe for Relaxation and overnight, if time allows you can explore Entebbe and do some shopping around before your safari starts the next day.

Day 2: Drive to Kibale forest national park
After morning breakfast you will transfer to Mabamba swamp for a boat cruise in search of the shoebill in the wetland using a motorized canoe boat after you will start your drive to Kibale forest national park upon arrival you will check in to your lodge and enjoy dinner as you get ready for your chimpanzee trekking experience.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest
After morning breakfast you will transfer to the park for your chimpanzee trekking experience, the chimpanzee experience is a 3-4 hours activity depending on when you find the chimpanzees and you will spend one hour with the chimpanzees in their natural habitat and later return to the lodge for relaxation and later in the evening you will do a primate walk at the Bigodi wetland sanctuary.

Day 4: Drive to Mweya sector of Queen Elizabeth national park
After morning breakfast you will drive to Queen Elizabeth for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel in the afternoon, the channel is a wildlife hub that separates Lake Gorge and Lake Edward and during dry season large herds of elephants are attracted to drink water and you will see incredible wildlife on the cruise including birds after you will be transferred to the lodge for overnight.

Day 5: Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After morning breakfast with packed lunch, you will start your drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park via the southern part of the Queen Elizabeth national park which is known for its lions that climb trees this will be an en-route game drive to the Mountain gorillas.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking Experience in Bwindi forest
One of the greatest days in life is the morning of the day when you’re preparing to hike the mountainous terrains of Bwindi to trek the endangered mountain gorillas, the trekking usually takes anything from 2-9 hours depending on the location of the gorillas and Uganda has had 99.9 % of finding the gorillas after finding the gorillas you will spend one hour with the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Day 7: Drive to Lake Mburo national park
After morning breakfast you will start your drive to Lake Mburo national park which is Uganda’s closest national park from the main capital Kampala and Lake Mburo offers one of the best walking safaris and horse riding safaris in Uganda upon arrival you will check in to the lodge and take an evening game drive in the park.

Day 8: Explore Lake Mburo national park
After early morning breakfast, you will take a walking safari with an armed ranger from Uganda wildlife authority where you expect to encounter wildlife like buffalos, giraffes, impalas, Topi, Zebras, warthogs, Eland on foot and later return to the lodge for relaxation and later you will do an evening Sundowner game drive with drinks and bites as you wind up your safari in Uganda.

Day 9: Drive back to Entebbe
Depending on your schedule you will start your drive to Entebbe via the Equator line where you will have time to shop for souvenirs and later drive to Entebbe for your outbound flight home.
