Day 1: Arrive in Vilanculos and transfer to your lodge

Upon arrival at Vilanculos Airport in Mozambique, you will be met by a member of our friendly time and transferred north to asDunas Lodge, which is a short 20-40 minute drive from the airport.

This all-inclusive beach lodge will be your home for the next four nights as you soak up the beautiful turquoise waters of the Mozambican coastline, perhaps exploring the marine world further, around the paradise Bazaruto Archipelago.

Day 2-4: Explore from asDunas Lodge

You have the next three full days to enjoy the environment around asDunas Lodge. Enjoy walking along perfect white and gold beaches, swimming in crystal clear warm waters, fishing, snorkeling, diving, canoeing, horse-riding, and kite surfing are among some of the options on your doorstep. Some do include an additional cost.

Day 5: Transfer South to Sava Dunes Lodge

Today you will be transferred back to Vilanculos Airport from asDunas Lodge to meet a private transfer from the airport south to Sava Dunes Lodge. Here you will stay on a full board basis for the next four nights in a Sea-View Cottage.

Situated on the rugged coastline between the small towns of Barra and Tofo, it is a raw and beautiful landscape typical of this region of Mozambique. Just five suites are perched atop vegetated dunes. The lodge has a wilderness feel but with all the comfort you could expect from a luxury lodge and the hammock or swinging chair on the private deck of each room is the perfect place to enjoy this beautiful setting.

Day 6-8: Enjoy Activities at Sava Dunes

The activities focus on the incredible underwater world that is right in front of the lodge. In particular, it is one of the best places on the African coast to see whale sharks and manta rays. For those who enjoy snorkeling and diving, you will be well catered for. On top of the waves surfing, body-boarding and swimming are popular activities. You might like to enjoy the privileged position of the lodge, its swimming pool, swim-up bar, and poolside lounge. Some activities particularly those heading further afield or requiring motorized transportation may require an additional cost.

Day 9: Transfer back to Vilanculos

This morning, you will be picked up by your private road transfer and taken back to Vilanculos Airport in time for your onward flights.
