Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, you will be received and transferred to your lodge for relaxation and overnight, our representative will also take you through a briefing about your trip.
Day 2: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
After early morning breakfast, you will start your drive to Lake Nakuru national park, this park is home to Flamingos and the Rhinos, on arrival you will check in to the lodge for relaxation and later take an evening game drive in the park I search for wildlife like Black and white rhinos, which also has its fair share of Cape buffalo, zebra, eland, waterbuck and lion. In recent years Nakuru has attracted fame for the high number of leopard sightings, and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe and later return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 3: Drive to Masai mara to follow the Migration
After morning breakfast you will depart for Masai mara national reserve, this park is truly a wildlife sanctuary, on arrival you will check in to your lodge for relaxation and after you will head out for a game drive as you look out for mega wildebeest herds and predators you will expect to see wildlife like Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Zebras, Hippos. Wildebeest, Thompson’s gazelle, Crocodile, leopard, Giraffes, Rhinos and so many bird species.
Day 4: Following the Migration
After an early morning breakfast with picnic lunch you will drive to Mara River which is the area where the wildebeest Migration crosses from Serengeti to Masai Mara, depending on the day you may see the wildebeest crossing live, and also see an incredible number of predators that come in to hunt the wildebeest and later you will enjoy more game drive in the park in search of more wildlife and later return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 5: Following the Migration
Yet another exciting day, you will enjoy full day game drives as you follow the Mega wildebeest herds in the open and vast plains of Masai Mara, this reserve never seems to disappoint as you will see abundant wildlife and birds and later you will enjoy a sundowner in the park later drive to the lodge for overnight.
Day 6: Flight from Masai Mara to Diani beach
After an early morning tea/coffee you will enjoy the last game viewing in the park, and after you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight from Masai Mara to Diani beach is a major beach on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is located 30 kilometres south of Mombasa, in Kwale County. It has been voted Africa’s leading beach destination for the fifth time running, on arrival you will be received and transferred to your luxury resort for relaxation.
Day 7: Full day in Diani beach
You will enjoy full day relaxation as you soak in the sun on the white sandy beaches or in the swimming pool, optional activities like snorkelling, Boat cruise and a visit to Mambasa marine national park or Kisite Mpunguti Marine national park can be arranged directly by the lodge.
Day 8: Full day in Diani beach
You will enjoy full day relaxation as you soak in the sun on the white sandy beaches or in the swimming pool, optional activities like snorkelling, Boat cruise and a visit to Mombasa marine national park or Kisite Mpunguti Marine national park can be arranged directly by the lodge.
Day 9: Depart Diani beach for your onward Journey
After lovely relaxation on the beach, depending on the time of your flight you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Best time to witness wildebeest Migration in Kenya
We recommend planning your travel for mid-July as this is when the migration typically starts proper with the larger herds of wildebeest starting the move into Masai Mara. The migration takes place till the end of August, before declining into mid-September.
