Many of these parks are home to incredible numbers of Africa’s most-feted wild mammals and extraordinary birdlife. Detailed safari itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lusaka and transfer to your hotel

Upon arrival at Lusaka international airport you will be received by our guide and transfer to your hotel for overnight and dinner and you will get a full briefing of your safari from our expert consultants.

Day 2: Domestic flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe Airstrip and transfer to South Luangwa national park

Today you start your Zambian adventure. Fly from Lusaka Airport to Mfuwe Airstrip and on arrival you will be met by a representative from Wilderness explorers Africa and transferred to South Luangwa National Park upon arrival you will check in to your lodge enjoy lunch and relax a bit, later in the evening you go on a game drive in search of abundant wildlife that congregate around water holes and the Luangwa river after you will return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Full day game drives in South Luangwa National parks

After early morning breakfast you will head out to explore the untouched wilderness area. This area is renowned for its wildlife, the meandering Luangwa River and large plains play host to huge concentrations of game including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe and hippo and over 450 species of birds, after the morning sightings you will return to the lodge for lunch and after you will take a short relaxation and do another evening game drive in the park in search of more wildlife in the area and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Flight to Lower Zambezi

Today you bid farewell to South Luangwa as you head to your next destination, the Lower Zambezi National Park. You will be transferred to Mfuwe airstrip and then be flown to Royal Airstrip where you will then be transferred to the Camp upon arrival you will check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch after you will then head out for an evening game drive in search of wildlife.

Day 5: Full day exploration of Lower Zambezi

The Lower Zambezi National Park is the newest of Zambia’s exceptional, undeveloped wildlife areas. Most activities are concentrated along the Zambezi After morning breakfast you will meet the armed safari guides and head out for walking safari, after the walking safari you will then join a canoe trip floating down the Zambezi River quietly as you view wildlife and after you will be picked up by a speed boat transferred to the lodge for late lunch and relaxation.

Day 6: Domestic flight from Lower Zambezi to Victoria falls

Depending on your flight time you may do an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for full breakfast and after you will be transferred to the airstrip, for your flight from Royal Airstrip via Lusaka to Livingstone On arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the luxurious Lodge for a check in and relaxation.

Day 7: Hiking to the Mighty Victoria falls

After morning breakfast you will be transferred to the starting point for your hike to view this magnificent waterfalls, after the hike you will then visit the Livingstone Museum and later transfer to the lodge for relaxation later in the evening you do an evening game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, This small reserve was established in 1972 with the idea of having representative wildlife species from Zambia.  The park extends from the Batoka Gorge and continues for about 12km along the Zambezi River, above Victoria Falls.

Day 8: Depart Zambia for your flight to the next destination or home

This is your last day of this Zambian experience. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport where you can then connect to your onward journey.

Best time to visit Zambia

The best time to visit Zambia is during the dry season between June and November. The skies are cobalt blue, the days are hot, and the nights are cool.
