Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Livingstone international airport
On arrival at Livingstone international airport you will received by our guide in a private vehicle and transferred to your Luxury lodge on the edge of the mighty Zambezi River where you will check in for relaxation and romantic dinner.
Day 2: Domestic flight from Livingstone to South Luangwa National park
On this day, you will check out of the lodge and transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight to South Luangwa via Lusaka, upon arrival in South Luangwa you will be received by our guide and transfer to your lodge for a check in and relaxation and later head out for an evening game drive in search of wildlife like elephant, Cape buffalo, hippo, lion, Nile crocodile, warthog, puku, impala, spotted hyena, greater kudu and eland are all common. Unique to the Luangwa are the Thornicroft’s giraffe, Cookson’s wildebeest and Crawshay’s zebra, which are found nowhere else.
Day 3: South Luangwa National Park
Wake up to a South Luangwa National Park morning breakfast followed by a morning walking safari, After your sightings, you return for Lunch & free time to relax. Later in the afternoon, tea & coffee will be served just before the afternoon game drive then returns to the camp in time for dinner.
Day 4: Full day game drives in South Luangwa national park
After an early morning breakfast you will head out again for game drive in search of wildlife, the Luangwa river is one of the greatest habitats for wildlife after spotting several wildlife you will return to the lodge for relaxation and hot lunch, late in the evening you will head out for sundowner game drive in search of more wildlife and you will enjoy cold drinks on the drive and later return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.
Day 5: Domestic Flight from South Luangwa to Victoria Falls
After Lazily morning breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Livingstone on arrival you will be received and transferred to your lodge for relaxation and later you will hike to see the mighty victoria Falls at sunset with drinks and snacks
Day 6: Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River
Day at leisure and evening private sunset cruise on the Zambezi River is a definite must on any trip to Victoria Falls. Relax with a sundowner and snacks as you gaze out onto the banks of the river. Have your camera ready to capture one of the most amazing sunsets in Africa.
You’ll be sure to spot wildlife animals as they come down to the river for a drink after a hot day in the Zambezi National Park (Zimbabwe) and the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (Zambia). Sightings of elephant, giraffe and other resident game are common. There’s always an abundance of hippos and crocodiles. Birdlife is superb and the Fish eagles will usually fill the scene with their calls.
Day 7: Transfer to Airport for your onward journey
After your wonderful honeymoon holiday in Zambia depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
