Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1-Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Tarangire national park
After morning breakfast, you will depart Arusha for Tarangire national park, this small wildlife paradise is a home to Elephants and baobab trees, during dry season a lot of wildlife is usually concentrated on the water holes making it a fantastic place to see wildlife, on arrival you will check in to your lodge for relaxation and lunch after you will head out for an evening game drive in the park
Day 2-Drive to Lake Manyara national park
After morning breakfast, you will start your drive to Lake Manyara has a big number of elephants, so many giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, and warthog, small known shy Kik’s dik dik as well as Klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment. Leopards are hosted within the broken forests and escarpment, healthy lions that are widely known for their tree climbing pranks. This used to be a special character of the park which is not the case today. Regarded as Africa’s largest, huge herds of baboons are expected by most of the travelers.
Day 3-Drive to Ngorongoro conservation area
After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and start your drive to Ngorongoro conservation area, en route to your lodge you will visit Olduvai Gorge this is one of the historical sites in Tanzania with some of the oldest fossils and later you will drive to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 4-Full day exploration of Ngorongoro crater
Explore one of the most recognized wildlife conservation areas in Tanzania today. Depart your camp or lodge in a privately driven vehicle, along with a local expert guide, for approximately a 20 to 30-minute drive towards the Ngorongoro Park Gate. It will then take you another 20 minutes to reach the crater rim itself. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. This geological masterpiece was formed as a result of an extremely large volcanic explosion which caused the volcano to collapse in on itself, thus creating a crater. The crater floor also boasts one of the highest carnivore densities in the world including large pride of lions, packs of hyenas, and solitary predators like cheetahs and jackals.
Day 5-Drive to Serengeti national park
After morning breakfast, you will start your drive to Serengeti national park, The Mighty Serengeti plains play a host to one of Africa’s greatest wildlife spectacles in the entire animal kingdom, the wildebeest migration which takes place between Serengeti and Masai Mara, Serengeti is well known for world’s largest concentration of big cats like lions, cheetah, and hyenas. The wildlife migration referred to as “The Great Wildebeest migration” is an annual movement of a large group of animals of about 2 million, the largest wildlife being the wildebeest some zebras and gazelle that move from Serengeti national park northwards to Masai Mara National Park and back to Serengeti.
Day 6-Full day game drives in Serengeti national park
After morning breakfast, you will head to the park to search for wildlife like buffalo, elephants, cheetah, leopard, lions, zebras as you look out for the Mega wildebeest herds, upon locating them you will follow them as you watch the drama of the bulls fighting, making their territories and also chasing each other and later you will return to the lodge for lunch and later you will continue with another game drive in search of wildlife and later return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 7-Drive back to Arusha
You will have early morning coffee after you head into the park for an early morning game drive to look out for wildlife, after you will return to the lodge for full breakfast and refreshment after refreshment you will then start your drive to Kilimanjaro international airport for your departure flight home.

The best time to visit Northern Tanzania safari parks is during the Dry season from February to March and from June to October when the grass is short and there is less rain fall.
