Safari itinerary

Day 1: Domestic flight from Arusha to Serengeti national park

After morning breakfast at your lodge, you will be picked up by the lodge and transferred to the airstrip and take your flight from Arusha to Serengeti national park, upon arrival at the airstrip our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the lodge for check-in and relaxation and later you will do an evening game drive in the park, Serengeti is one of the wildlife paradises in Tanzania with stunning wildlife numbers and on the drive, you will expect to see wildlife like cheetahs, lion, elephants, wildebeest, Zebras, and much other wildlife.

Day 2: Full day game drives in Serengeti national park

After early morning breakfast, you will start your private game drive into the park as you will be looking out for wildlife this park is one of the greatest wildlife viewing areas in Tanzania with a stunning number of predators like Lions, leopards, cheetah, and hyena your game drive with the aim in looking out for this wildlife as you advance to Mara River to wait for the Mega wildebeest herds to start crossing from Serengeti to Masai mara, this waiting requires a lot of patience as it never predicated when the first wildebeest will plunge into the River for others to follow and depending on what the day offers you will later return to the lodge for a swim and sundowner drinks at the lodge.

Day 3: Full day game drives in Serengeti national park

Yet another day in the Serengeti, you will have coffee at your lodge and head out for an early morning game drive in search of hyenas and leopard and also other nocturnal wildlife, the lodge will organise a bush breakfast for you and you will meet with the team and enjoy your breakfast in the wilderness after the bush breakfast you will then drive to the Mara River to follow the wildebeest Migration herds just like other days you will sit patiently to wait for any crossings and later you will meet with lodge staff again for a sun downer , here you will have cold drinks and snacks in the wild as you look at the sun to set and later you will drive to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area

After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and start your drive to Ngorongoro conservation area, en route to your lodge you will visit Olduvai Gorge this is one of the historical sites in Tanzania with some of the oldest fossils and later you will drive to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day5: Full day game drives in Ngorongoro Crater

After morning breakfast with picnic lunch you will descent to the crater floor, this is one of the places with the best chances to see the African big five wildlife of Leopard, elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Lion, you will also see incredible birdlife in the Crater in the course of the day you will find an exclusive spot and enjoy your picnic lunch in the wild and later continue game driving in the park and later you will return to the lodge for a swim, relaxation, and overnight.

Day 6: Drive to Tarangire national park

After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and start your drive to Tarangire national park, upon arrival you will check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch and relax after relaxation you will start your game drive in the park the drive will take you to the shrinking lagoons which are gathered around by migratory wildebeest, eland, gazelle, impala, zebras, kudu, rhino, hartebeest buffalo, and other smaller mammals. Also regularly spotted are the dry country antelope like the long-necked gerenuk and fringe-eared Oryx, Mongoose colonies are often hosted by abandoned drifts (anthills). Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Drive back to Kilimanjaro for your departure flight

After morning breakfast you will start your drive to Arusha, upon arrival you will enjoy a short tour of Arusha for shopping and later you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro national park for your departure flight.

The best time to be in Serengeti for this safari is in August when the River crossings occur often, this will also see all the grass in the Serengeti plains is mulched out so the wildebeest herds will be making the way to Masai Mara for the new short grass and water.
