Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek
Upon arrival in Windhoek, you will be received by our Guide and transfer to the lodge overnight depending on your time of arrival you may check out the city for shopping and changing money.

Day 2: Flight to Onguma game reserve
Start your journey from Windhoek with a charter flight to Onguma Game Reserve. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be transferred to the Ongava Tented Camp where you will stay for the next three nights. You can enjoy your first sunset game drive this evening.
Onguma Game Reserve features over 34000 hectares of protected land scattered with a variety of wildlife including plains game, black rhino, kudu, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard, and more than 300 bird species.

Day 3: Drive to Etosha for Game drives
After morning breakfast you will drive to Etosha national park for game viewing in search of big games like Lions, Zebras, Giraffes, and the abundant birdlife in the park.

Day 4: Morning walking safari and evening game drive in Onguma game reserve
After morning breakfast you will take a guided walking safari in search of African wildlife on foot with armed guards and later return to the lodge for relaxation and later head for an evening game drive in Onguma game reserve.

Day 5: Fly to Damaraland
Today your pilot will fly you from Onguma Airstrip to Twyfelfontein airstrip. On arrival, you will be met by a representative from Discover Africa and transferred to Mowani Mountain Camp where you will spend the next two nights. The flying time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Day 6: Explore Damaraland
Some of the activities included during your stay at Mowani include an elephant and dune drive as well as a visit to Twyfelfontein. The Elephant and dune drive offers an opportunity to climb into an open-air vehicle with a local guide sharing new insight into local traditions. The visit around Twyfelfontein takes approximately two hours and usually takes place in the afternoon and shows the area’s ancient rock engravings.

Day 7: Flight back to Windhoek
Today marks the end of this short but exciting, after breakfast at the lodge; you will be flown by charter flight back to Windhoek airport for your onward journey.
