Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Flight from Maun to Okavango Delta
After morning breakfast at your lodge you will be received and transferred to Okavango delta on a light aircraft, on arrival you will check in to your luxury lodge for lunch and short rest and later you will head out for a walking safari in the Delta.
Day 2: Explore Okavango Delta
After morning breakfast you will meet your expert guides for morning game drive in the delta ,Okavango Delta includes a myriad of species including African Bush Elephant, African Buffalo, Hippopotamus, Lechwe, Topi, Blue Wildebeest, Giraffe, Nile crocodile, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Brown Hyena, Spotted Hyena, Greater Kudu, Sable Antelope, Black Rhinoceros, White Rhinoceros, Plains Zebra, Warthog and Chacma Baboon. Notably the endangered African Wild Dog still survives within the Okavango Delta and exhibits one of the richest pack densities in Africa and after you will return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch and earlier afternoon you will head out for the mokoro canoe experience in the Delta water ways.
Day 3: Flight to Moremi game reserve
After morning breakfast you will be picked by the light aircraft and transfer to moremi game reserve, this is one of the most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries in Botswana on arrival you will be transferred to the lodge for lunch and relaxation and later you will enjoy an evening game drive in the park.
Day 4: Explore Moremi game reserve
This morning will be an early start to the day as you will experience an exciting Safari through the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve which is a home to the rare African wild dog and leopard after you will return to the lodge for hot lunch, relax and later in the evening enjoy evening game drives in the park in search of wildlife and birds.
Day 5: Flight to Chobe national park
After morning breakfast you will transfer to Savuti area of Chobe national park, this area has one of the largest concentration of predators in Chobe Savuti is famous for its mysterious and fascinating channel. It runs a distance of 100 kilometers from the Chobe River, through a gap in the sand ridge, to the Mababe Depression. Falling only approximately 18 meters, this channel brings water from the Chobe to Mababe, creating a small marsh where it enters the Depression.
Day 6: Explore Chobe national park
After morning breakfast you will head to Savuti reserve, this area has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the African continent, with year-round opportunities to view all kinds of game – from giraffe, elephants, zebra, and buffalo, to big cat predators like lion, cheetah, and hyena and after return to the lodge for lunch and a nap after you will head out again for evening game drive in the park.
Day 7: Depart Botswana for your onward flight
After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and transfer to the Maun using a light aircraft on arrival you will connect to your onward journey.
