Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to your lodge for relaxation
On arrival in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 2: Drive to Amboseli national park
After morning breakfast you will depart for Amboseli national park, this is one of Kenya top national parks with one of the stunning landscapes, this park sits opposite Africa’s highest mountain range the Kilimanjaro, and is home to the famous big tusk elephants on arrival you will check-in and heads out for evening game drive in search of wildlife like Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, Masai giraffe, Grant’s zebra, and blue wildebeest and later return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
After early morning tea/coffee you will head out for an early morning short game drive to look out for more wildlife and after returning to the lodge for full breakfast and check out, you will start your drive to Lake Nakuru national park, this park is home to Flamingos and the Rhinos, on arrival you will check in to the lodge for relaxation and later take an evening game drive in the park I search for wildlife like Black and white rhinos, which also has its fair share of Cape buffalo, zebra, eland, waterbuck, and lion. In recent years Nakuru has attracted fame for the high number of leopard sightings, and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe and later return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 4: Drive to Masai mara to follow the Migration
After morning breakfast you will depart for Masai mara national reserve, this park is truly a wildlife sanctuary, on arrival you will check in to your lodge for relaxation and after you will head out for a game drive as you look out for mega wildebeest herds and predators you will expect to see wildlife like Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Zebras, Hippos. Wildebeest, Thompson’s gazelle, Crocodile, leopard, Giraffes, Rhinos and so many bird species.
Day 5: Following the Migration
After an early morning breakfast with picnic lunch you will drive to Mara River which is the area where the wildebeest Migration crosses from Serengeti to Masai Mara, depending on the day you may see the wildebeest crossing live, and also see an incredible number of predators that come in to hunt the wildebeest and later you will enjoy more game drive in the park in search of more wildlife and later return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 6: Following the Migration
Yet another exciting day, you will enjoy full day game drives as you follow the Mega wildebeest herds in the open and vast plains of Masai Mara, this reserve never seems to disappoint as you will see abundant wildlife and birds, and later you will enjoy a sundowner in the park later drive to the lodge for overnight.
Day 7: Drive back to Nairobi for Departure
After morning breakfast you will start your drive from Masai Mara to Nairobi via the Rift valley on arrival you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
