Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Domestic Flight from Entebbe to Kasese Airstrip
After morning breakfast you will be transferred to Entebbe international airport for your domestic flight from Entebbe to Kasese, upon arrival you will be received by our guide and transfer to your lodge for check in and Lunch after lunch you will do an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will expect to encounter Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffalo and abundant birdlife and later transfer to the lodge for overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Ishasha sector
After an early morning coffee and packed breakfast you will drive to Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive in search of wildlife like lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Kob and many others after you will return to the lodge for refreshment and early lunch after lunch you will drive to southern queen Elizabeth national park in search of tree climbing lions.
Day 3: Full day game drives in Ishasha sector
You will wake up very early and enjoy coffee and cookies at the lodge, head out for an early drive on the Ntungwe ridge in search of wildlife, usually elephants and hyenas are seen in this area, after you will return to the lodge for a full breakfast and relaxation, later in the day you will drive to the fig tree area in the south end of the park in search of tree lions and after return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, later in the evening you will head out for a sun downer game drive in the park after spotting several wildlife you will enjoy drinks and snacks in the wild and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After lazily morning breakfast you will check out and drive via the park in search of more wildlife, after you will exit the park and drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park arriving in time for late lunch, relaxation and overnight.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest
After an early morning breakfast full dressed in your trekking gear, with packed lunch and enough drinking water you will transfer to the park station for a briefing about gorilla trekking, after the ranger guides will lead you in to the forest where you will start trekking the gorillas from their previous nests upon locating them you will view them for 1 hour and later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 6: Return flight from Bwindi forest to Entebbe
After morning breakfast depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Entebbe, upon arrival you will received by our representative and transfer to your day room in Entebbe and later in the day you will be transferred back to the airport for your onward flight.
