Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Moroni

Moroni is the main capital city of Comoros located in the Grande Comore Island of the Comoros archipelago

Upon arrival at Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport, you will be welcomed by our staff and transfer to your hotel for relaxation.

Day 2: Flight from Moroni to Mohéli Island

In the morning you will board a small plane to Mohéli. On arrival at the small island airstrip, you will be transferred to Laka Lodge.

Laka Lodge is located next to the village of Nioumachoua and it’s the only lodge on the island of Mohéli, with a sea view and the magnificent national park of Mohéli spreading out from behind the lodge.

Day 3: Boat cruise to search for Dolphins

You take a boat cruise around the blue lagoons of the Indian Ocean as you look out for dolphins and also on the same tour you will explore Mohéli marine national park where there are chances of seeing the Livingstone bats which are critically endangered due to habitat loss.

Day 4: Day at Leisure on the Island

This day will be taken at leisure as you will relax at the beautiful beach as you wait for the sunset over the Indian Ocean but optional activities can be arranged at the hotel

Day 5: Search for the Giant sea Turtles

Visit the giant sea turtles in Itsamia, this is a famous breeding area for the sea turtles that are have disappeared in other islands due to the killing and destruction of the breeding areas, and later you will return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 6: Departure

You will bid farewell to the lodge and fly to Moroni to catch your bound flight
