Our 5 days Uganda gorilla fly-in safari will give clients a chance to avoid the 9-10 hour drive and also allow them to trek the gorillas 2 times in Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable national park or Mgahinga gorilla national park travellers will fly into Kihihi or Kisoro airstrips depending on their gorilla permit location.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and transfer to the Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be received by our Guide and transferred to your booked lodge for relaxation and overnight as you prepare for your safari if time allows you may do some shopping around Entebbe town for items you may need.

Day 2: Flight from Entebbe to Bwindi forest
After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred back to Entebbe international airport for your domestic flight to the Kihihi airstrip upon arrival you will be transferred to Bwindi impenetrable national park for check-in and Lunch and optional activities like forest walk, birding tours or village walks can be arranged by your guide.

Day 3: first gorilla trekking Experience
After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a gorilla briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before your split into groups of 8 clients and you will trek a specific gorilla group and trek usually takes 2-8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family after reaching the gorillas you will spend 1 hour with the Mountain gorillas after you will return to the park and later our guide will transfer you back to the Lodge.

Day 4: Second gorilla trekking experience
After the previous experience, you will trek yet another group of Mountain gorillas in Bwindi just like the first day you will again gather at the park station for another briefing after you will be divided into groups and you will set off for the second gorilla trek in the forest and you will also spend 1 hour after finding the gorillas and later return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 5: Flight back to Entebbe
Depending on your flight you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip where you take your flight back to Entebbe and either transfer to the airport for your outbound flight home or next destination.
