Yet South Africa boasts some quite superb wildlife viewing destinations, offering a far greater ecological diversity than some of its neighbours.

Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town and transfer to your lodge
Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Victoria & Alfred Hotel situated in the V&A Waterfront in the heart of Cape Town. You will spend the next three nights here enjoying all that the ‘Mother City’ has to offer.
Day 2: Full day city tour of Cape Town
On this day you will visit the Cape Winelands, take a tour of the peninsula, visit some of the beautiful beaches and Table Mountain which is one of the classic landmarks of this area and later you will return to the lodge for relaxation.
Day 3: Flight from Cape Town to Kruger national park
Today you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight into the Kruger. You will fly direct from Cape Town to Hoedspruit and on arrival will be transferred to Motswari Private Game Reserve, One of Mpumalanga’s finest destinations; Motswari Private Game Reserve is set within the verdant Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which is part of the world-renowned Kruger National Park, This evening enjoy your first game drive in an open vehicle with your guide followed by dinner at the lodge.
Day 4: Morning and evening game drives in the reserve
After an early wakeup call with coffee/tea enjoy your early morning game drive in Motswari Private Game Reserve is located in a game-rich area comprising four major habitat types. It supports a diverse range of species, each fulfilling a particular niche for their survival. The Timbavati is renowned for its predator populations, supporting one of the highest densities of lion in Africa. Followed by breakfast, the time for some rest, this afternoon enjoy a guided bush walk followed by high tea and your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for pre-drinks and dinner.
Day 5: Final Game Drive and departure
This morning enjoy your final game drive before being transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg so you can connect with your onward journey.
