Detailed safari itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After morning breakfast you will be picked up by our safari guide and transfer to Kigali genocide Museum for a tour of the genocide After the tour you will start driving to Volcanoes national park via Musanze where you will visit the Diana Fossey Museum and after you will drive to your Lodge near Volcanoes national park for check-in, dinner, and Overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your guide from the Lodge and transfer to Kinigi park headquarters where you will attend a gorilla briefing by the park rangers, after the briefing you will drive to the trailhead to start your trek into the forest to find the gorillas, After locating the Mountain gorillas you will spend one hour with the gorillas and later return to the Lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 3: Drive back to Kigali

After lazily morning depending on your schedule in Kigali or your flight time you may choose to do optional activities like Visiting the twin Lakes, Musanze caves, or Buhanga eco-park and later drive back to Kigali, upon arrival in Kigali you will be transferred to your booked accommodation or transferred to the airport for your flight out.
