Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali or client is within Kigali

Our guide will meet you at your preferred location and give you pre safari briefing before departing Kigali for Uganda the following morning.  This day is not inclusive of the 2 days planned by Wilderness Explorers Africa and pre-tour accommodation and post-tour accommodation and transfers can be arranged upon request by the traveler.

Day 2: Kigali city tour and drive to Mgahinga gorilla national park or Lake Mutanda

After your morning breakfast, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the Kigali genocide memorial, the Belgian peace center before enjoying a great lunch at the famous Hotel Rwanda, after lunch, you will drive to Mgahinga national park or Lake Mutanda depending on where the gorilla permits are available for relaxation and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking experience and transfer back to Kigali

On this beautiful day clients will start up early with morning coffee and delicious breakfast, then drive to the park headquarters for a briefing after you embark on the journey to find the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, after finding the gorillas you will spend one hour with the mountain gorillas after you will return to the park and drive to the lodge for refreshment before transferring to Kigali for overnight or outbound flight.
