Safari itinerary

Day 1: pick up from Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes national park

After morning breakfast you will be picked from the lodge by our guide and transfer to Kigali for a short city tour where you will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum, after the visit depending on the time you finish you may have lunch in Kigali, after lunch you will then transfer to Volcanoes national park for check-in and overnight.

Day 2: Golden monkey trekking experience and transfer to Lake Kivu

After early morning breakfast, you will be picked from the lodge by our guide and transfer to Kinigi park headquarters for a golden monkey trekking experience, after the briefing you will be transferred to the trailhead where you will start walking on foot to trek the golden monkeys, after finding the golden monkeys you will view them for 1 hour after which you will return to the lodge for refreshment and later drive to Lake Kivu for relaxation.

Day 3: Drive back to Kigali

You will enjoy a lazily day in the morning after you will start your drive to Kigali, upon arrival in Kigali you will be transferred to the lodge or transferred to the airport for your outbound flight
