One of the best ways to see Mountain gorillas is by flying from Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable national park as this saves you a lot of time traveling which is usually 9-10 hours’ drive by road from either Kampala or Entebbe to one of the gorilla trekking sectors of Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Our 3 Days Bwindi gorilla fly in Safari will allow clients to fly from Entebbe to either Kihihi airstrip which is an hour drive to the Northern part of Bwindi forest or to Kisoro Airstrip where clients may choose to trek gorillas in Either Nkuringo, Rushaga, or Mgahinga gorilla national park.

Suggested Itinerary for the 3 Day Bwindi gorilla flying in Safari
Day 1: Flight from Entebbe to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip
After an early morning breakfast our guide in Entebbe will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe transfer you to the Airport for your scheduled flight to Kihihi airstrip, the flight is about 1 hour and 15 minutes upon arrival at Kihihi airstrip you will be received by our guide in the southwest and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park upon arrival you will check in to the Lodge and have lunch after lunch you may choose to do a forest walk or a short birding tour around the Buhoma area as you prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Gorilla trekking in one of Africa’s best tropical rainforests is regarded as one of the greatest wildlife encounters one can ever come across while on safari in Africa, your day will start with morning coffee as the sun rises above the horizon, After your full breakfast you will be transferred to the briefing point where you will meet other tourists heading for the same activity and you will go through a briefing by the park rangers after which you will be split into groups of 8 and start your trek into the forest after locating the Mountain gorillas you will view them for 1 hour after you will return back to the Lodge for relaxation it’s important to note that gorilla trekking experience can take anything from 2-8 hours depending on the location of the Mountain gorillas.
Day 3: Flight back to Entebbe
After an incredible time with the Mountain gorillas you will take a morning flight back to Entebbe depending on your flight schedule you may choose to do activities around Entebbe like Entebbe city tours, Lake Victoria boat excursions, or just take a day at leisure at the pool of your Day room hotel and later our guide will transfer you to the airport for your Outbound flight.
