Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Maun and Transfer to Your lodge for relaxation
On arrival in Maun with your family, you will be received by our guide and transferred to your hotel for relaxation, safari briefing and overnight.
Day 2: Flight from Maun to Okavango Delta
After morning breakfast at your hotel with the family you will be received by our guide and transfer to the airport for your domestic Flight from Maun to Okavango Delta, on arrival you will be received and transferred to your lodge or camp for check in Lunch and relaxation and later in the day you will enjoy a boat cruise in the delta as you look out for wildlife and birds.
Day 3: Full day exploring Okavango Delta
After breakfast, you will cruise to the mokoro station where you will spend half a day there with a mokoro trip specialist (guide). Then you will return to camp for lunch and to refresh, after wards, you will have a guided walk in the area.
Day 4: Flight from Okavango Delta to Moremi game drive
After Lazily morning breakfast you will transferred by air to Moremi game reserve which covers an area of approximately 3900 square kilometers, Moremi boasts of diverse ecosystems ranging from floodplains, waterways, lagoons, pools, pans, grasslands and riparian forests, riverine to mopane woodland. This makes Moremi one of the prime game viewing and bird-watching areas of the world, depending on time of arrival you will enjoy an evening game drive in the reserve.
Day 5: Explore Moremi game reserve
After morning breakfast you will start your game drive in Moremi’s prestigious wildlife reserve on the drive you will look out for the elusive wild dog and leopards in the area as well as enjoy the abundant wildlife like Buffalo, elephants and Hippos and later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 6: Drive to Khwai concession
After having breakfast and breaking camp, we will be heading to Khwai concession on arrival you will check in have lunch and relax a bit, after you embark on an evening game drive combined with a night game drive in the community concession and later return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Exploration Khwai concession
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will go on a game drive, exploring every corner of Khwai, the go back to camp for lunch, after resting, you will have a chance to visit the village of Khwai of the Basarwa people where you will get to learn of their lifestyle. Then you will head back to camp and have dinner, then go out on yet another night drive to witness the nocturnal species of Khwai.
Day 8: Drive to Savuti area in Chobe national park
After morning breakfast you will depart Khwai concession for Savuti area, this area within Chobe national park which is famous for its predator population, on arrival you will check in and head out for an afternoon game drive in park in search of the abundant wildlife in the area.
Day 9: Full day game drives in Savuti area
After morning breakfast you will head to Savuti reserve, this area has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the African continent, with year-round opportunities to view all kinds of game – from giraffe, elephants, zebra, and buffalo, to big cat predators like lion, cheetah, and hyena and after return to the lodge for lunch and a nap after you will head out again for evening game drive in the park.
Day 10: Drive to Nxai pan national park
You have breakfast early in the morning, break camp, then head to Nxai Pan, there are chances that you will have packed lunch on the way there, the upon arrival, you will check in to your camp, refresh, then haver dinner and call it a day.
Day 11: Explore Nxai pan national park
After morning breakfast you will start your game drive through the mopane woodlands pass herds of springbok, impala, kudu and, ostrich, while night drives brush by packs of the edgy black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox and, the elusive tawny maned lion. Open 4×4 drives perfectly illustrate the mesmeric appeal and pull of the Nxai Pans. Morning drives provide incredible soft light that maximises photographic opportunities and wildlife sightings, whereas night drives are illuminated by the glowing eyes of the reserve’s nocturnal and often predatory inhabitants.
Day 12: Transfer Makgadikgadi pans national park
After morning breakfast you will transfer to another camp in Makgadikgadi pans national park where you will have the opportunity to ride on quad bikes on the sand dunes of the Makgadikgadi. Watch the many flamingos of the Makgadikgadi and watch the sunset in the wowing artist seeming scape.
Day 13: Explore Makgadikgadi pans national park
Continue the amazing exploration of the Makgadikgadi area, it is an area known for a great population of zebras and wildebeests, not to mention the wowing population of flamingos. You will be amazed by the tranquilities of this great place and the wildlife that acclimates to pans.
Day 14: Drive back to Maun
After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and start your drive back to Maun via the Nata-Gweta- Maun with interesting landscape on arrival at the you will be transferred to the airport for your onward Journey.
