Touch down at Cape Town International Airport, where you’ll be met airside for your private transfer to Queen Victoria. This 5-star luxury hotel is tucked away in a quiet enclave of the V&A Waterfront, yet it’s an easy stroll to restaurants, shops and the Robben Island ferry.

Day 2: Full day in Cape Town

Your first full day in South Africa kicks off with a driving tour of Cape Town city centre. Stops include the Castle of Good Hope, famous St. George’s cathedral and a stroll through the colourful Cape Malay quarters. You will also see the well-known Company’s Gardens – the oldest garden in the country. The afternoon is then yours free to explore this incredible city. With a drop off at the beautiful V&A Waterfront, this is the perfect place to have lunch and try a variety of local foods, including some fresh fish right next to the Cape Town harbour. After lunch, why not take a cable car ride up to Table Mountain, This table-shaped mountain is a prominent landmark that towers over Cape Town. Table Mountain is one of the official ‘New 7 Wonders of Nature’!

Day 3: Full day in Cape Town

This morning we explore the Cape Winelands! Following breakfast we take a scenic drive through the Cape wine region. South Africa has the oldest wine industry outside of Europe. This is your chance to taste South Africa’s signature wine, Pinotage. A local wine expert will tell us all about Cape district wines and the wine-making process. Lunch is a delicious traditional meal served among the vineyards. Next stop is Stellenbosch, a special town settled by the French Huguenots in the 1600s. Explore the Cape Dutch architecture and many laid-back coffee shops, boutiques and art galleries. After one more wine tasting tour this afternoon we take a heavenly coastal drive to Hermanus. The evening is yours to explore the town of Hermanus.

Day 4: Depart Cape Town for Sabi sands game reserve

A private transfer takes you to Cape Town Airport for your morning flight to Skukuza. Here you’ll be met by your guide and driven to your wonderful lodge. Dulini Safari Lodge lies in the Sabi Sands, a reserve famous for its sightings of leopard, lion, elephant and other big game.

Day 3: Full day game drives in Sabi sands game reserve

Explore the wilderness on morning and afternoon game drives, led by your expert guide and tracker team. Each drive holds the promise of thrilling new encounters; and since the Sabi Sands is a private reserve your guide is permitted to drive off-road getting you up close to the sightings.

Between drives, relax by your private plunge pool as vervet monkeys play in the branches overhead. Dulini is a small lodge with 6 exquisite suites, each housed in a stone cottage overlooking the riverbed. At night dinner is served al fresco on the main deck, the excellent food accompanied by a bottle of wine from Dulini’s well-stocked cellar.
