Detailed honeymoon safari holiday
Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
You’ll be picked up from your hotel at 8 am and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive. Although small in dimension (205 sq miles), the park has breath-taking scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, and a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge amount of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that cannot be described in words. The game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background. Some possible extra tours are a bike tour or a boat excursion. In the afternoon, you’ll return to the camp for dinner.
Day 2: Drive from Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation area
You will start the day very early with a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival, we’ll descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on earth.
Ngorongoro Crater is considered one of the Wonders of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah’s ark. It inhabits almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, and a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. After the drive you will transfer to your lodge for overnight.
Day 3: Drive from Ngorongoro Conservation area to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. The drive itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, “endless plains”. The park has 6,900 sq miles (18,000 sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for big cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park.
Day 4: Full day game drives in the park following the wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park
After morning breakfast you will again head to the park to searching wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drive, this drive will also take you to Mara river where the Mega wildebeest herds are concentrated, you will follow this wildebeest hopping to see the river crossing, you will also look out for predators that are attracted by the large migrating herds and later you will return to the lodge for relaxation and Overnight.
Day 5: Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park (Following the Great Migration)
On these two incredible days, you will be driven across remote locations within the vast Serengeti plains in pursue of the great migration. The areas you visit depend on the time of the year and could be as far as the remote North of the Serengeti near the border with Kenya, or could be in the South (Ndutu Area) or in the Western part of the park.
Day 6: Full day game drives in Serengeti national park following the wildebeest Migration
After morning breakfast you will start your slow game drive in search of wildlife like Lions, Cheetahs, Leopard, Zebras, elephants, Buffalo, and abundant birdlife as you will be looking out for the Mega wildebeest herds that will be congregated by the Mara River after locating the wildebeest you will sit and wait for any River crossing which usually occurs any time of the day as the wildebeest face their greatest obstacle of the entire Migration and later you will return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 7: Morning at leisure and depart Serengeti NP for Zanzibar
After lazily morning breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar, on arrival at Zanzibar airport you will received by our guide and transfer to your luxury resort for relaxation and overnight .
Day 8: Full day relaxation at your luxury beach resort
After lazily morning breakfast you will spend the entire day walking around the white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean, swimming in your private swimming pool, enjoying massages and body therapy in the spa with your loved ones on this dream holiday.
Day 9: Full day relaxation at your luxury beach resort
You will spend the whole day either soaking in the sun, walking along the coastline, swimming in the private pool or in the luxury spa for massages and cold drinks as you enjoy this delightful honeymoon.
Day 10: Dolphin tour and Jozani forest tour
At 8:30 south coast dolphin tour a trip to dolphin watching tour, a day trip to Kizimkazi, wonderful you may swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle – nose dolphin playing off Kizimkazi beach & give you chance to experience special natural message in the Indian ocean, at 2:30pm driving to jozani forest tour for red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest and the living species of fish under Neath.
Day 11: Full day relaxation at your luxury beach resort
You will spend the whole day either soaking in the sun, walking along the coastline, swimming in the private pool or in the luxury spa for massages and cold drinks as you enjoy this delightful honeymoon.
Day 12: Depart Zanzibar for your onward flight
You can spend the last hours of your journey relaxing. Afterwards, you will have a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your international flight.

The best time to travel is during the countries dry season from July to October this is also the crossing time for wildebeest from Serengeti to Masai Mara in Kenya.
