Capturing the wildebeest stumped across the Mara River is one of the classic safari experiences of a lifetime, this unbelievable wildlife drama is one of the most spectacular wildlife encounters in Africa, Avid filmmakers will find Serengeti a special wildlife filming paradise when the wildebeest mega herds gather at the Mara River to face their greatest obstacle on the Migration trail.
One of earth’s most spectacular wildlife events takes place each year in the heart of Tanzania’s Serengeti national park and Kenya’s Masai Mara all located in the heart of East Africa, culminating at a river crossing where nature coldly decides who lives to see another season this is made harder due to the fact that Mara River sometimes experiences flooding and the crocodiles are always waiting for food and on the other hand lions and cheetahs are on alert in Masai mara.
Over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, and Elands follow a circular migratory route throughout the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems, fraught with a series of river passages whose raging currents and predatory beasts lurking in the shallows make the endeavor more than just a simple swim.
