Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek
Our driver will meet you at the airport upon your arrival. The drive into Windhoek takes around 30 minutes, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery on the way to your first destination.
Located just a kilometer from the city center, Windhoek Gardens Boutique Hotel features an outdoor pool and barbecue, Free WiFi is featured and all rooms come with a flat-screen TV.
Our local representative will meet you at the hotel this afternoon to go through your itinerary with you, hand over your comprehensive tour file, and answer any questions you may have about the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Sossusvlei
This morning after breakfast, you will drive about 4 hours south to Sossusvlei.
In this exquisite location, you will be accommodated in stylish stone chalets, built from the local occurring rock. A Little Sossus Lodge will ensure you an unforgettable stay in the tranquil desert surroundings.
Sesriem Canyon has located approximately 4.5km from the entrance gate of the Namib-Naukluft National Park. You may want to enjoy an afternoon walk through the canyon. The canyon is narrow at places; however, it is worth exploring due to the stunning rock formations that will captivate your attention.
Or simply book an extra activity and fly over the oldest desert of the world in a hot air balloon during the cool hours of the early morning. It is a fantastic experience and exhilarating feeling to watch the sunrise in the Namib Desert from a hot air balloon. Enjoy an exclusive Champagne Breakfast at the landing spot in scenic nature.

Day 3: Sossusvlei
Sesriem gate opens at sunrise. Put your camera to work at Dune 45 and Dead Vlei – an enormous clay pan dotted with fossilized trees and flanked by sand dunes that stand out stark against the sky.
You can make regular stops on the spectacular ±60 kilometers drive through the dune corridor down to the Vlei, including marveling at the mysterious Fairy Circles. At Dune 45, make a stop to view the world’s most photographed dune. Further along, a gradual 2,6 kilometers round-trip walk up to Dead Vlei is a must for healthy visitors. The more energetic have the opportunity to climb to the upper ridge of Big Daddy Dune, one of the highest dunes in this area! Spend time exploring Sossusvlei before returning to the Lodge in time for lunch.

Day 4: Swakopmund
After breakfast, you will drive towards the lovely town of Swakopmund, approx. 5 hours. You might want to stop in Solitaire, an aptly named cross-roads settlement with a service station, hotel, and a small shop famous for its apple strüdel and home-made bread.
You can admire the Kuiseb and Guab pass amazing landscape and breath-taking views as if brought directly from some fiction movie.
Your stay for the next two days is at Brigadoon Guest House. Located a few meters away from the Atlantic Ocean beaches. Brigadoon Guesthouse features elegant rooms with views over the lush garden.
You might like to spend time relaxing in the town of Swakopmund or at many of its cafes or restaurants. Swakopmund is the culinary capital of Namibia. This popular coastal town offers a large diversity in terms of gastronomic delights. Take a stroll through the center of Swakopmund and admire the historical buildings. Enjoy a cultural township tour through Mondesa or Kuisebmond.

Day 5: Swakopmund
Early this morning you will experience the amazing riches of the Atlantic Ocean. You will drive to Walvis Bay, about 30min and depart from Walvis Bay Waterfront at 08:45 for a marine educational sightseeing tour.
Get your cameras ready, because you will sail with Dolphins, Whales, Leatherback Turtles, and Sunfish (Mola Mola) along the way. The knowledgeable crew will tell you everything you want to know about these amazing and beautiful creatures.
A sumptuous lunch buffet of fresh Atlantic oysters, cakes, and appetizers, sparkling wine & hot drinks will turn the morning sail into an extra special occasion. Let the cool salty breeze relax your soul as you make your way back across the Lagoon to Walvis Bay Waterfront.
Enjoy a drive to admire the prolific birdlife including masses of Flamingos at the Walvis Bay Lagoon. One of the richest and most important wetlands in southern Africa.

Day 6: Damaaraland
Today, you will say goodbye to the coast. You will drive along the Skeleton Coast. Stop at Cape Cross where you will arrive at the amazing spectacle of Cape Fur Seals.
Your journey will continue inland to the camera-friendly Damaraland region of Namibia with massive granite inselbergs and dolerite dykes carved into fantasy shapes by the wind. On the way to Ugab Terrace Lodge, pass by the Ozohere Camp for a photo opportunity with the Himba Tribe.
Ugab Terrace Lodge provides a unique African experience with friendly staff and delicious cuisine that will make you feel at home. Indulge yourself with the breath-taking view enjoying a refreshing drink and overwhelming experiences of bathing in a splash pool constructed in the natural rocks at the top of the mountain surrounded by unspoiled valleys and bush.
Ugab Terrace has one of the longest zip lines in the world with 2 lines, 880m and 630m respectively with a drop of 50m. This is a unique adventure, carefully calculated for all ages.

Day 7: Etosha South
Your journey continues east to Namibia’s premier wildlife viewing destination, Etosha National Park. Your stay is at Etosha Safari Camp.
Etosha Safari Camp is situated 9 km south of Andersson Gate, the entrance to the Etosha National Park. It has a sparkling swimming pool, the Okambashu Restaurant, and the Oshebeena Bar styled like a typical little township bar. Enjoy evening entertainment next to a fire, under the stars.
This afternoon, you may want to explore the Southern side of the Park, guided or self-drive. A series of waterholes along the southern edge of the pan guarantee rewarding and often spectacular game viewing.

Day 8: Etosha East
Pack your belongings because an impressive 5000-square-kilometer Etosha salt pan is waiting for you. The Park is well equipped with camps, restaurants and swimming pools. Make a stop at Halali Camp mid-way between Okaukuejo and Namutoni. Here you can visit the famous Moringa Waterhole at the camp. The oasis-like natural spring at Goas is also a favorite.
Upon arrival at Mokuti Etosha Lodge, a cool, green tropical oasis welcomes you. Charming thatched buildings and two sparkling pools nestled amongst the vast indigenous gardens, give credence to the name “Mokuti”, which in Ovambo means “In the forest”.

Day 9: Okonjati Game Reserve
A 3-hour drive will take you to the heart of the Okonjati Game Reserve.
“Etjo”, meaning place of refuge, is one of the first private Game Reserves established in Namibia and founded by world-renowned conservationist Jan Oelofse, who was the animal supervisor and handler for the Hatari movie from 1962.
Experiencing Wildlife activities and Enjoying Nature on the Okonjati Game Reserve is memorable and everlasting, while enjoying exquisite cuisine and luxurious accommodation, Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is and remains one of the most favorite destinations to visitors from around the world. Day 10: Okonjati Game Reserve

The healthy ecosystem at Okonjati game reserves provides a home for hundreds of bird species. Surprisingly colorful, they are easily spotted by the attentive observer. Watching and identifying them with the help of your field guide can be fascinating!

Day 11: Drive back to Windhoek
After breakfast drive back to Windhoek. Drop off your rental vehicle. You will be transferred to the Hosea International Airport in time for your flight.
