Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lusaka and transfer to your lodge for Overnight
On arrival at Lusaka airport you will be met by our Meet and Greet team and transferred to the lovely Latitude 15 Boutique Hotel for your overnight rest. Extra nights are available should you wish to arrive early and rest up before your safari adventure begins.
Day 2: Domestic flight from Lusaka to Lower Zambezi National Park
Transfer this morning to Lusaka airport for your flight to Lower Zambezi. On arrival transfer to Anabezi Luxury Tented Camp located heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The camp is located on the banks of the Zambezi River; you’ll find the exquisite Anabezi Camp. Attracted by the corn-yellow pods that fall from the trees, you’ll be mere metres away from feasting elephants as they spend long, lazy days by the riverbanks. The camp has twelve spacious, secluded tents, raised on platforms to give you a magnificent view of the Lower Zambezi. Where the Zambezi River and Mushika Flood Plain meet, is also the meeting spot for hundreds of animal species. Come morning or night, you’ll be greeted with an array of game from the comfort of your tent.
Day 3: Morning walking safari and evening game drive in the park
After morning breakfast you will meet the trained armed guides, full dressed in your walking safari gear you will head out on foot to encounter some of Africa’s finest wildlife up close , this is one of the greatest ways to experience African wildlife, some of the wildlife to look out for is the elephants, Buffalo, Lions and several species of Antelope, after the walk you will return to the lodge for relaxation and later in the evening you will head out for an evening game drive in the park.
Day 4: Morning game drive and Afternoon Canoeing on the Zambezi River
Over 95% of the game sightings in this area are exclusive to your vehicle, a welcome change from other parts of Africa. After morning breakfast you will meet the expert guides for a game drive in search of wildlife like elephant, hippo, buffalo, waterbuck, zebra, impala, bushbuck and kudu. Of the carnivores, there are solid numbers of leopard, lion and hyena, after the drive you will return to lodge for a quick lunch and head out in the middle of the day for canoeing as most animals will be down by the river for drinking water and you will have a great African experience of approaching wildlife on a canoe and later you will transfer to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 5: Domestic flight to South Luangwa national park
This morning you are transferred to Jeki Airstrip for your flight to Mfuwe. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Lion Camp in South Luangwa NP, The camp is built on the water’s edge amongst woodlands and some large Sausage & Mahogany Trees. The openness of the lodge affords spectacular views of the plains with the constant presence of wildlife.
Day 6: Full day game drives in South Luangwa national park
After early morning breakfast you will meet up with your expert guides and head out to Zambia’s finest safari destination the south Luangwa, the water holes and flood plains act as a big water source for wildlife, a few times you will see wildlife congregate around water holes some of the classic game include lions, Leopard, Elephants, hyenas, Buffalos, Giraffes and abundant birdlife in the park and you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation and later head out for an evening game drive in the park.
Day 7: Morning walking safari and evening game drives in the park
After morning coffee/ tea you will meet up with the armed safari guides, you will proceed to the park’s phenomenal game viewing areas on foot, this is one of the greatest wildlife experience in foot, imagine coming face to face with the African elephant, Buffalo or lions on foot, after the walk you will return to the lodge for relaxation later in the evening you will drive out again with drinks and snacks for an evening game drive in search of more wildlife and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Domestic flight from South Luangwa national park to Victoria Falls
After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Livingstone, upon arrival you will be received by our guide and transfer to the luxury lodge on the shores of the Zambezi River for relaxation and overnight.
Day 9: Full day hiking at Victoria falls
After morning breakfast you will transfer to Victoria Falls, upon arrival fully dressed on your hiking gear you will hike to different parts of the falls to get different views of the waterfalls after phenomenal experience of the falls you will then return to the lodge for late lunch and relaxation.
Day 10: Full day relaxation on the shores of the Zambezi River
After an incredible safari experience in Zambia you will enjoy the morning at leisure or visit the Livingstone museum and later in the evening you will do a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River with drinks and snacks and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Transfer to the Airport for your departure flight
After morning breakfast depending on your flight time you will be transferred to Livingstone airport for your onward flight home.

Best time to visit Zambia for wildlife safari
The dry season, from Jun-Nov, is generally considered the best time to visit Zambia. Walking safari and game drives are at their best as wildlife is concentrated a round water holes.
