Day 3: Explore Okavango Delta

Our local guides will take us deep into the heart of the Okavango Delta on mokoro (dugout canoes). The delta forms as water flows from the Angolan highlands out over the Botswana flat Kalahari Desert sands creating a delicate, green oasis for birds & wildlife. We will camp wild on remote islands in this amazingly dynamic environment & enjoy bush walks, bird watching & swimming in the clear water.

Day 4: Explore Okavango Delta

After morning breakfast you will head out for a game drive in the park in search of wildlife such as Elephants, African Buffalo, Hippopotamus, Lechwe, Topi, Blue Wildebeest, Giraffe, Nile crocodile, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Brown Hyena, Spotted Hyena, Greater Kudu, Sable Antelope, Black Rhinoceros, White Rhinoceros, Plains Zebra, Warthog and later return to the lodge for quick lunch and take a mokoro canoe ride and later return to the lodge for relaxation and sundowner and after you will head out for a night game drive with a great opportunity to see the many animals that are more active at night than during the day such as Aardvarks, Aardwolves, Leopards, and Servals. Lions also hunt at night and it is a good chance to come upon them when they are feeding on a kill.
