Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Maun transfer to Okavango Delta
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Maun and transfer to Okavango Delta, on arrival you will check into your lodge and take a walking safari or a game drive in search of wildlife and birds.
Day 2: Explore Okavango Delta
After morning breakfast you will head out for a Mokoro safaris are spent cruising quietly along reed lined channels and floodplains. You will enjoy the spectacular landscape of this unique region with a combination of mokoro excursions and guided nature walks on the islands and floodplains of the Okavango.
Lunch will be prepared and served by your Mokoro guide on the banks of the Okavango Delta before heading out on a guided Game Walk on one of the many wildlife abundant islands within the Okavango Delta and later return to the lodge for relaxation.
Day 3: Optional morning active and transfer to Moremi game reserve
After lazily morning or optional activities you will be transferred to Moremi game reserve on arrival you will check in to your lodge and head out for an evening game drive in search of the abundant wildlife, look out for wild dogs and large elephant herds.
Day 4: Full day Safari Activities in Moremi Game Reserve
This morning will be an early start to the day as you will experience an exciting Safari through the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve which is a home to the rare African wild dog and leopard after you will return to the lodge for hot lunch, relax and later in the evening enjoy evening game drives in the park in search of wildlife and birds.
Day 5: Drive to Khwai concession
After morning breakfast you will start your drive to Kwai concession which is a home to large herds of elephants take their bath next to hippos, whilst being watched by lechwe antelopes. Photogenic leopards, spotted hyenas and large packs of wild dogs will make the heart of any wildlife lover beat faster. Every now and then prides of lions can be seen. A lot of animals migrate down during the dry season from the Linyanti area, as the Khwai River forms a reliable source of water attracting many antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, and zebras.
Day 6: Explore Khwai concession
Today you will have a full day of Safari activities in the predator rich area. These activities include open vehicle safari activities searching for wildlife in an open safari vehicle, as well as optional game walks where you will learn important aspects of nature.
Day 6: Drive from Khwai concession to Chobe National Park
After a delicious breakfast you will depart for Chobe national park which is a home to the largest populations of elephant herds. You will stay in a beautiful lodge overlooking the famous Chobe River. Here you will also see wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos and elephants.
Day 7: Explore Chobe National Park
Today you will enjoy a morning game drive searching for wildlife in Chobe National Park. You will enjoy a delicious breakfast and have some free time. In the late afternoon, you will depart on an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park, searching for wildlife.
Day 8: Flight from Botswana to Zambia
After morning breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Livingstone airport, on arrival you will be received and transferred to your lodge for relaxation.
Day 9: Full day exploration of Victoria falls
After morning breakfast you will drive to the mighty Victoria Falls for a hike, this magnificent water falls is one of the finest waterfalls in southern Africa, sitting near the thunder that smokes is one of the most magnificent safari experiences in Zambia later you will return to the guest house for relaxation and overnight.
Day 10: Transfer to the airport for your own ward flight
After a delightful experience in Zambia depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport for your own ward flight.
