On a good day, you may be able to see the famous Nyiragongo Volcano in the Congo and some of the towns in the low laying areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

How to get to Nkuringo gorilla trekking sector

• By Air

There are direct morning flights from Entebbe to Kisoro airstrip, from here a 2.5-3 hours scenic drive in a 4×4 safari land cruiser will take you to the top of the hill which is a base for mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest.

• By Road

The easiest recommended route is via Rwanda if you’re not on our regular Gorillas, chimpanzees, and wildlife safaris, from Kampala the drive is 11-12 hours on a smooth road and it’s a 5-hour drive from Kigali via Volcanoes national park Rwanda and Cyanika border crossing.
