The resort is spaciously set up and stretches into Lake Mutanda. Our cottages each come with a private veranda and en-suite bathroom. We offer single, double/ twin, and family/ triple rooms with comfortable beds and mosquito nets.

The lodge is located on the shores of Lake Mutanda which is 18 km from Kisoro town; the lodge provides a strategic base to explore both Mgahinga gorilla national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park.

How to get to Mutanda Lake Resort

Kisoro town is the easiest access point to Mutanda lake resort, you can access the area from the Rwandan capital Kigali, or from Queen Elizabeth national park which takes anything between 5-6 hours, for those from Kampala or Entebbe you can fly in from Entebbe to Kisoro and take the 40 minutes transfer to the lodge or take the 11-hour drive from Entebbe.
