Kiho gorilla safari lodge is located and the extreme border of the Bwindi forest just 3 km from the Ruhija gorilla starting point, the lodge is located in the Bamboo zone making it a spectacular area to see wildlife like elephants and duikers and also phenomenal birdlife.

How to get to Kiho Gorilla safari Lodge

Currently, there are no nearby airstrips in this area, clients wanting a perfect stay can fly into Kigali and take the 4-hour drive to the lodge via Kabale town or the only accessible airstrip is in Kihihi which is also a 4-hour spectacular drive and from Kampala or Entebbe the lodge is 9 hours’ drive via Mbarara-Ntungamo-Kabale road.

And those on regular safaris would easily access the lodge from Ishasha the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park which is also a 5-hour drive.
