The Luxury Buhoma lodge is one of the two lodges located in the secondary forest of the mighty Bwindi impenetrable national park, the lodge is located perfectly overlooking the misty forest cover of the Buhoma gorilla trekking region of Bwindi impenetrable national park, the lodge is a perfect base for gorilla trekking only 5 minutes walk to the park office, the lodge is known for great food, exceptional massages after gorilla trekking and Cold drinks.

Buhoma lodge has ten comfortable chalets which have individually been designed and carefully built using locally sourced materials wherever possible, without compromising levels of comfort. Each of the chalets has its own private verandas giving clients wonderful views and vistas of the forest canopy of the Bwindi Forest.

The lodge is strategically nested in the secondary forest in the northern part of Bwindi impenetrable national park, the Buhoma gorilla trekking sector is the oldest and first gorilla trekking sector established in Bwindi forest.

How to get to Buhoma lodge

Buhoma lodge can be accessed by either road or by air from Entebbe or Kampala, Aero link Uganda operates 2 daily flights to Kihihi airstrip in the morning and in the afternoon which is relatively a 2-hour drive to the lodge and by the road the lodge can be easily accessible from the southern part of Queen Elizabeth which is 3 hours’ drive or from Entebbe or Kampala via Rukungiri Kihihi which takes about 9-10 hours.
