Mkulumadzi is located in Majete wildlife reserve which is about 100 km from Blantyre city this can easily be accessible by 4×4 safari vehicle, those traveling from Lilongwe will need about 7-8 hours’ drive to the lodge using a 4×4 vehicle.

Best time to visit Majete wildlife reserve

July to October of the Dry season is the best wildlife viewing time. At this time, water is scarce so the wildlife tends to gather at the remaining water sources. Keep in mind that October is very hot and not the ideal time for being in the bush.
