Kumbali country lodge is a perfect pre and post-safari located on the outskirts of the Malawian capital Lilongwe. This beautiful double storage launch with a bar and dining room offers a varied menu of excellent cuisine complemented by fresh vegetables and dairy products from the farm. The naturally forested estate is wonderful for walks, jogging, bird watching and nature appreciation. Farming activities include maize and dairy with an emphasis on community development together with Nature’s Gift Permaculture Centre. The Kumbali Cultural Village displays traditional Malawian Arts including dance, music, and crafts. Traditional Huts in the Village offer accommodation and Malawian cuisine.

There are 16 thatched suites. The spacious and uniquely designed Executive and Deluxe Suites are en suites also offering internet, tea and coffee facilities, TV and a private verandah.

Kumbali Country Lodge, owned by Guy and Maureen Pickering, situated on a 650ha working farm, is an exclusive and private lodge with a conference centre only 10 minutes from Lilongwe City Centre and 25 minutes from the International airport.

How to get to Kumbali Country Lodge

Kumbali country lodge is located about15 km from the main capital Lilongwe via Presidential Way and this can take anything from 25 min to 40 depending on the traffic flow and the time of the day.
