Terms and Conditions, Wildlife Expeditions

Wilderness Explorers Africa is known for arranging elite Safaris in East Africa to see the mountain gorillas and witness the epic and spectacular wildebeest migration and life-changing safaris in Southern Africa to top wildlife areas. Please carefully read the Terms & Conditions as well as the Travel-Notes as they place out our particular obligations as well as form the foundation of you your client’s contract with us. Cancellation/ terminations by us

If the selected alternative is less-costly than your initial holiday/safari, we shall certainly give back the difference from the original payment however in case it’s more-costly, we shall request you to then pay-up the difference. On the other hand, you have the right to get a full refund of all payment you have made to us except for Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits in DR Congo, Uganda, and Rwanda which can only be refunded to the Client if the refund has surely been availed to us by the Governments of the respective countries. Apart from instances where we cancel/terminate for reasons save for those talked about in this very clause, we shall not have any additional legal responsibility to you. We much regret that we cannot pay for any expenses, losses as well as costs incurred as a consequence of any termination/cancellation. In such a circumstance, the individual(s) concerned will surely be obliged to depart from the accommodation or any other service right away. We shall not have any further liability towards such individual(s). Please note that there will be no refund made and we shall pay no expenses or financial-costs sustained as a consequence of the cancellation/termination.

With operations in 16 African countries at exceptional circumstances, we will offer the clients credit notes that will allow them to book another considerately less priced safari holiday to one of the mentioned destinations on this form as a mutual settlement between us(Wilderness Explorers Africa) and you (the Client(s))

Cancellations/ terminations by you

Must you or another member of your travel-group be compelled to cancel/terminate; you are obliged to warn us / your travel-agent in writing. A cancellation/termination is not valuable not until we obtain a copy of a written notice from you. To cover-up our probable loss incurred by the cancellation/termination and given that we may fail to re-sell your holiday, then cancellation fees, not including insurance, will be imposed per person as detailed below:

a) Deposit payment if they cancel 120 days before the next payment.

b) 75% of the initial payment 119 days to 50 days before traveling.

c) 100% of the initial payment 49 days before traveling.

However, being travelers before we do understand and know that no condition is permanent we may have to settle in mutual talks and Agreements with our clients after critically assessing the cause of the cancellation and therefore this will be a private arrangement between Wilderness Explorers Africa and the client.

Complaints and dis-satisfaction services

All complaints should be reported right away to our delegate as well as to the service(s) supplier in question, who certainly will do their very best to ensure that they solve the problem. In case you stay discontented, please submit a written report to our Safari manager in your destination of travel immediately following the occurrence and it should not be over 14 days after the commencement of your safari/holiday, to allow us to better investigate the circumstances carefully. Unfortunately, the legal responsibility for complaints that are not notified to us in accordance with this stated procedure shall not be allowed.

Consumer protection

Wilderness Explorers Africa trades specifically ground-handling services on the Africa continent. Gorilla permits

Travel Insurance

Liability

We will certainly take all the appropriate care to prevent injury, death, or illness to our client caused by animals’ or insects’ life at the destinations. However, it is your personal responsibility to take good medical insurance as well as practical precautions regarding this so your attention should be focused on the Health part in the Travel-Notes section. Good Medical guidance should be got before traveling. Themed to these Terms & Conditions, we as the company accept liability so should you or anyone in your group suffer an illness, death, or personal injury as a consequence of performing failure or inappropriate performance of the made contract by our employees, sub-contractors, and agents, suppliers dos plus don’t dos (given they were done while executing duties we have authorized) except in the instances below.
