9 Days Luxury Ethiopia Safari
The Simien Mountains National Park in Northern Ethiopia is an exotic setting with unique wildlife and breath-taking views on a landscape shaped by nature and traditional agriculture. The natural beauties of this region have always filled visitors from Ethiopia and abroad with awe. Gentle highland ridges at altitudes above 3600 meters above sea level.
The park is home to very main endemic species like the Gelada monkeys and Simien fox and this comes along with some of the most dramatic views in the world.
The Bale Mountains, in the Oromia Region of southeast Ethiopia, south of the Awash River, are part of the Ethiopian Highlands. They include Tullu Demtu, the second-highest mountain in Ethiopia, and Mount Batu. The Weyib River, a tributary of the Jubba River, rises in these mountains east of Goba.
Bale Mountains National Park is home to 14 species of endemic mammals; those of paramount importance include the Ethiopian wolf, mountain nyala, and giant molerat, and Bale monkey. There are less than 400 wolves remaining in the wild, over half of which reside within the Park.
