Powerful and photogenic, Zongo Falls gush out of a 65 m (213 ft) tall cliff and crash down through the jungle canopy, creating fabulous clouds and spectacular rainbows. Set amidst lush greenery, the falls make for a great photo opportunity. Head here if you’re looking to get out of Kinshasa for the weekend, but keep in mind that a 4WD vehicle is required to reach this picturesque spot.

Using a 4×4 safari vehicle Zongo falls is located about 140 km from Kinshasa and it can be done in one day but staying at Kisantu is much better.

Mbuela lodge
Mbuela lodge offers a lot of Congo compared to many different facilities, nice pool, peacocks and great lawns staying in a hut which is perfectly acceptable but small. Services are friendly.
Based on Congolese standards you may need to be patient sometimes and if you want to play tennis you may need to inform the lodge in advance as they close at 5 pm.
