Detailed safari itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport in Nairobi, you will go through your visa process and after you will proceed to the arrivals where our guide will receive you and transfer you to your hotel for overnight and relaxation.

Day 2: Drive to Masai Mara national reserve

After an early morning breakfast you will start your drive to Kenya’s premier safari destination famous for African Big five wildlife of Rhinos, lions, leopards, Buffalos and elephants, this beautiful drive will take you through the Rift valley on arrival you will check in to your lodge for relaxation and if time allows you will do an evening game drive in the park.

Day 3: Full day game drives in Masai Mara national reserve

After an early morning breakfast you will meet your guide with picnic lunch and enough drinks to last you for the entire day, after you will start your game drive before sunrise, this drive will give you great opportunity to see wildlife like Wildebeest, giraffe, Zebras, Hyenas, lions, Leopard as you advance to the Mara River, after locating the mega herds of the wildebeest by the Mara River you will sit quiet and wait usually the crossings take place often in the middle of the day, depending on your lucky you may see the River crossing Live.

Day 4: Full day game drives in Masai Mara national reserve

Yet another exciting day with start with hot air balloon over the vast plains of Masai Mara as you will look out for the mega wildebeest herds, after the balloon ride you will have a bush breakfast and after continue game viewing in the park, and you will also head to the Mara River to try and catch the River crossing Live.

Day 5: Drive to Lake Nakuru national park

After morning breakfast you will start your drive to Lake Nakuru national park which is famous for pink flamingos lining on the lakeshore upon Arrival at around mid-morning at Lake Nakuru for a game drive en-route, and check-in at the lodge/camp, and have lunch you will embark on a game drive in the afternoon. The park houses Black Rhino, White Rhino, and the Rothschild Giraffe. You can see the rare species such as Lesser and Greater Flamingos, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans, and other intra- African Migrants.

Day 6: Drive to Amboseli national park

After having a delicious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and start your journey to Amboseli, which is a very popular national park well-known for its huge elephant herds. You will enjoy a joyous game drive to Athi plains to Namanga to Nairobi. In the second half of the day, you will enjoy your game drive inside the park, where you will spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 7: Drive to Nairobi for your connecting flight to Entebbe

Depending on the time of your connecting flight you will depart Amboseli national park for Nairobi, on arriving in Nairobi you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight to Entebbe in Uganda, on arrival in Entebbe our guide will receive you and transfer you to the your lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 8: Domestic flight from Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early morning breakfast our guide in Entebbe will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe transfer you to the Airport for your scheduled flight to Kihihi airstrip, the flight is about 1 hour and 15 minutes upon arrival at Kihihi airstrip you will be received by our guide in the southwest and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park upon arrival you will check in to the Lodge and have lunch after lunch you may choose to do a forest walk or a short birding tour around the Buhoma area as you prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 9: Full day gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest

Gorilla trekking in one of Africa’s best tropical rainforests is regarded as one of the greatest wildlife encounters one can ever come across while on safari in Africa, your day will start with morning coffee as the sun rises above the horizon, After your full breakfast you will be transferred to the briefing point where you will meet other tourists heading for the same activity and you will go through a briefing by the park rangers after which you will be split into groups of 8 and start your trek into the forest after locating the Mountain gorillas you will view them for 1 hour after you will return back to the Lodge for relaxation it’s important to note that gorilla trekking experience can take anything from 2-8 hours depending on the location of the Mountain gorillas.

Day 10: Flight back from Bwindi forest to Entebbe for your onward journey

After an incredible time with the Mountain gorillas you will take a morning flight back to Entebbe depending on your flight schedule you may choose to do activities around Entebbe like Entebbe city tours, Lake Victoria boat excursions, or just take a day at leisure at the pool of your Day room hotel and later our guide will transfer you to the airport for your Outbound flight.
