Suggested safari itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Kigali to Bwindi forest
After morning breakfast you will do a quick Kigali city tour before starting your drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park via cyanika or Katuna border upon arrival at the lodge you will check in to the Lodge for relaxation as you enjoy great views from the Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest
After morning breakfast you will be transferred to the park station for a gorilla briefing by the park rangers and after you will be split into groups of 8 members to a gorilla family and then the lead guide will lead you in to the forest to search for the gorillas and upon finding the gorillas you will spend one hour with them and later return to the Lodge.
Day 3: Second gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest
After an incredible first day you will head out again to see a different gorilla family, this will be more experiential as you will compare the two different gorilla families as you will be viewing the Mountain gorillas in their natural habitat at after viewing the gorillas you return to the Lodge for relaxation.
Day 4: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
After lazily breakfast in Bwindi forest you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and Lunch after lunch you may swim in the pool and in the evening you take a sunset boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi with cold drinks.
Day 5: Drive back to Kigali
Depending on your flight in Kigali you will have a lazily morning after you will drive to Kigali for your outbound flight.
