Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jomo Kenyatta international airport in Nairobi
Upon arrival in Jomo Kenyatta international airport you will be received and transferred to your hotel for relaxation and overnight.
Day 2: Drive from Nairobi to Sweetwater’s wildlife sanctuary
After morning breakfast you will start your drive to sweet waters wildlife sanctuary arriving in time for lunch at camp, have a little rest and later proceed for afternoon game drives at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Sweetwater’s is a sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of the chimpanzees. The site is also a dedicated for the black rhino breeding area.
Day 3: Drive from Sweetwater’s to Lake Nakuru national park
After morning breakfast you will depart the lodge for Lake Nakuru National park arriving in good time for lunch, check in, have a little rest and later proceed for afternoon game drives, Lake Nakuru’s is famous for the pink flamingos which are seen seasonally as they are on migration at times, over 400 species of birds can be found here.The Lake is an important haven for endangered species- particularly the black and white rhino other animals are also found here like Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons etc.
Day 4: Drive from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National reserve
After early morning breakfast you will start your journey to one of Africa’s top wildlife sanctuaries, the Maasai Mara. Enroute to the Mara we stop at the Great Rift Valley view point and take in the magnificent view over the plains. Arrival will be in time for lunch, check, after check in we are treated to lunch. Rest and later you head out for the first game drive in Maasai mara in search of the big cats and plenty of wildebeest! Return in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full day game drives in Masai Mara national reserve
Breakfast and depart with packed lunches for a full day exploring the park in search of the Big 5 and other wild game. Masai Mara offers plenty of wildlife. You will hope to see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. The spectacular annual event takes place in the Mara, the migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Later return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Drive from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
After a morning breakfast we leave Masai Mara and drive to the most famous Rift Valley Lake. After check in and refreshments we head to the Fresh water lake which is home to over 400 bird species and a large population of hippo. We will take a boat ride past all the hippos and visit the stunning Crescent Island sanctuary. Here with our guides we walk amongst Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and water buck.
Day 7: Drive from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli national park
Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa well seen on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here.
Day 8: Depart Amboseli for Tsavo west national park
Depart after breakfast for Tsavo West National Park arriving at the lodge in time for Check in and have time at leisure followed by lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon depart for your afternoon game drive until sunset. Return to the lodge afterwards for dinner & overnight.
Day 9: Drive from Tsavo west to Tsavo East National park
We depart the lodge after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National park. Game is viewed as we exit the park for Tsavo East National parks just some few Kilometers away. Arrival will be in time for lunch at the Lodge, check in, have a rest and later depart for an afternoon game drive till dusk when you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge.
This park was famed for its large herds of Red elephants, they known so as they are covered in red dust you may visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks and Aruba Dam as you game drive if time permits.
Day 10: Full day game drives in Tsavo East National park
The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos. You will head out and enjoy game drives looking out for wildlife in park and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Depart Tsavo East national park for Nairobi
After an early morning breakfast you will depart the park for Nairobi, upon arrival you will catch your flight or train to Mombasa, upon arrival you will be received and transferred to your beach resort for relaxation and overnight.
Day 12: Full day relaxation in Mombasa
You have the full day taking beach walks and sun bathing at the showers of the Indian Ocean or optional activities like boat cruise, diving or snorkelling can be arranged by the lodge.
Day 13: Full day relaxation in Mombasa
You have the full day taking beach walks and sun bathing at the showers of the Indian Ocean or optional activities like boat cruise, diving or snorkelling can be arranged by the lodge.
Day 14: Depart Mombasa for Nairobi to connect your international flight
After relaxing holiday you will bid farewell to the lodge and transfer to the airstrip or to the train station to catch your flight or train to Nairobi, upon arrival you will be received by our representative for a short de brief and later transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Best time see the wildebeest Migration in Kenya
Masai Mara has an abundant resident game all year-round but the best time to visit Masai Mara for wildebeest migration is August to October.
