Detailed safari itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro international airport

Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro international airport you will be welcomed by our representative who will receive you into a waiting vehicle and transfer you to the Lodge in Arusha. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the Hotel, after you will relax and enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Drive from Arusha to Tarangire national park

After morning breakfast at the lodge, you will start your scenic drive to Tarangire National park. This national park is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is a home to large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals; predators and the preys will be seen gathering around the river where you can do excellent evening game viewing.

Day 3: Drive from Tarangire national park to Serengeti national park

After morning breakfast you will depart for Serengeti national park passing through Olduvai Gorge, the gorge is an extraordinary destination for fossils, this historical site will blow you away and later you will continue to Serengeti national park for wildlife viewing enroute to the lodge, this wildlife sanctuary is a home to spectacular wildlife like wildebeest, Zebras, elephants, giraffes and predators like Lions, cheetah, leopard and hyenas.

Day 4: Fullday game drive in the Serengeti following the migration

After early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will depart the lodge with packed lunch for a full day game drives in the park as you will be following the great migration, this usually involves movement of millions of angulates followed by predators which makes it one of the greatest wildlife shows in the entire animal kingdom, depending on the time of the year you will have different experience from calving season, rutting season and the River crossing and later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Drive from Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro conservation area

After breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and continue game driving in the park as you will drive towards Naabi gate for lunch and after you will drive to Ngorongoro conservation area, this crater is regarded as the best wildlife sanctuary to spot the African big five wildlife of Lions, leopards, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephants and not forgetting the incredible birdlife, upon arrival you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full day game drive in the Ngorongoro crater floor

After early morning breakfast you will descent to the crater floor for the game drive with picnic lunch. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes and incredible birdlife in the crater and later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 7: Drive from Ngorongoro to Kilimanjaro to catch your flight to Zanzibar

After your morning breakfast you will bid farewell o the lodge and start your drive to Arusha where you will arrival in time for lunch and have a short tour of the town for shopping and later you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight to Zanzibar upon arrival in Zanzibar airport you will be received by our representative and transfer to your lodge for check in and relaxation.

Day 8: Optional stone town tour or full day relaxation

After breakfast at hotel you may decide to take the day at leisure or you may visit Stone town where you will expect to visit historical sites, culture and architectural sites. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, Visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (cultural centre) to Maruhubi Palace ruins via Living Stone House.

Day 9: Fullday exploration of Zanzibar Archipelago

After morning breakfast you will head out for dolphin watching tour to kizimkazi, there you may swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle-nose dolphins playing off Kizimkazi beach & give you a chance to experience special natural message in the Indian ocean, in the afternoon you will drive to jozani forest for a tour to see the red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest the living spices of fish under Neath and later you will return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 10: Full day relaxation and depart Zanzibar Archipelago on a late flight

You will spend the entire day enjoying the lodge and relaxing by the beach, this will be your last day and later in the evening our representative will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
