Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Hotel and transfer to Kigali city for a tour and later drive to Volcanoes national park

After morning breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to Kigali city for a city tour, on the tour you will visit the Kigali genocide museum and the Belgian peace centre before proceeding to hotel Rwanda for lunch, after lunch you will start your drive to Volcanoes national park Rwanda en route you will make stops on the beautiful countryside and upon arrival at the lodge, you will transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Full day Mount Bisoke Crater Lake hike

After early morning breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Kinigi park headquarters to meet your guide for the hike, the guide will take you through a briefing, and thereafter you will drive to the base of mount Bisoke to start the hike, this hike will take through the beautiful countryside and upon arrival at the top you will enjoy the beautiful crater lake and the views and later you will descent down and transfer to the lodge for overnight.

Day 3: Mountain gorilla trekking experience and transfer to Kigali

After morning breakfast you will drive to Kinigi park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking experience, here you will meet other travellers from different lodges and you will be split into gorilla family groups, then you will drive to the trailhead to start your trek on foot, upon locating the gorillas you will spend 1 hour with them and return to the lodge for refreshment and later drive to Kigali for your later departing flight or overnight.
